ABOUT ME
I graduated from the University of Surrey with a BSc in Music & Sound Recording (Tonmeister) and began my career in the music industry as Studios Coordinator at the iconic Roundhouse. From there, I spent time freelancing as an assistant engineer for platforms including Amazon Music and VEVO, where I expanded my technical skills across a wide range of projects.
It was during this period that I discovered my passion for live sound and broadcast. I went on to join the Guildhall School of Music & Drama as an Audio Visual Engineer, based in the Barbican Centre. In this role, I lead all audio-related activity across the school while continuing to work extensively as a freelance engineer.
My freelance work has included mixing and recording for a variety of exciting projects in live music, such as Robert Glasper’s European Tour 2024, Adekunle Gold’s Royal Festival Hall performance featuring the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra, and various live music performances.
Alongside my professional work, I am deeply committed to widening access within the industry. For the past three years, I have developed and delivered a sound engineering programme at Roundhouse Creative Studios for young women, trans and non-binary people, aimed at breaking down barriers, building confidence, and inspiring the next generation of audio professionals.
